Finding The Best Vaporizer Pen

January 29, 2015/0 Comments/in Blog/by John Ryan

Whether you’re new to the world of e-cigs or an experienced vaper, you probably find yourself seeking the best vaporizer pen. It’s only human nature to want the best for your money, but with so many options available, it’s hard for newcomers to determine what’s worth the cost.

Vaporizer pens come in a variety of shapes, sizes, capacities, and capabilities. Some can vaporize e-liquid only, while other models are designed to burn dry herb as well. At the end of the day, it’s all about buying the pen that suits your preferences and needs.

The easiest way to determine the best pens is to buy a starter kit from a trusted company. Start with the smallest kit they have available if you’re on a budget. The basic kits are enough to gauge the quality of the batteries, the style, the company’s delivery time, and the quality of the e-juice. All of these are important factors to consider when choosing the best option for you.

Atmos Raw Vape Pen

When it comes to high-end vaporizer pens, few can compare to the Atmos Raw. It’s truly top-of-the-line and comes with all the great features you’d expect from a high-quality vape pen. It has a powerful battery, fast heating time, and delivers an excellent vaping experience.

The Atmos Raw, also referred to as the Atmos RX, is a fairly new competitor in the electronic cigarette market. If you’re considering this product, starting with a standard starter kit is a great way to get a feel for the pen’s quality.

The Atmos starter kit is packed with goodies. It includes the battery and the pen body, of course, but that’s just the beginning. The new packages come with glass screens, ceramic filters, and a ceramic heating chamber. You also get a USB charger and a wall adapter to keep your e-cig charged at all times.

The Atmos can also handle dry herbs, which is why it includes screens, a cleaning brush, and a packing tool with each starter kit. All these accessories make the Atmos an ideal choice for customers buying their first vaporizer pen. It comes with everything you need to get started and is easily one of the best vaporizer pens on the market.

It’s also unique in that it’s windproof—a feature not all vapes can claim. If you live in a particularly windy environment, you know the struggle of trying to enjoy a vaporizer pen outside when burning dry herbs. If you’re only using it for e-juice, you might not experience these same issues.

The Atmos has a fairly standard charge time. Expect between two and three hours to fully charge the battery from empty. The battery life is excellent, easily lasting two days of use before needing a recharge. Over time, the battery life will decrease, requiring more frequent charging.

Vapor Fi

Another relatively new competitor in the market is Vapor Fi. Despite being a young company, they are quickly becoming one of the best vaporizer pens sold today. They are owned and produced by the same company that owns EverSmoke, which speaks volumes since EverSmoke is another great vaporizer brand.

However, Vapor Fi appears to be surpassing even their sister company. Many predict they will lead the industry within a year, though that remains to be seen. While they are new to the market, they already have the experience and know exactly what customers want.

The Vapor Fi selection of vape pens is substantial. They already offer eight signature pens, each unique in its own way. Some feature the traditional vape pen design, while others are heavily modified to deliver the absolute best vaping experience.

Other e-cig brands may have great batteries and bodies but fall short in the e-juice department. This can be frustrating, as it means buying accessories, batteries, and juices from different sources—often resulting in additional shipping and handling fees.

That’s not an issue with Vapor Fi. They understand the importance of selling high-quality e-juice alongside high-quality vaporizer pens. The result is a one-stop shop for all your e-cig needs.

Vapor Fi offers a huge selection of e-juices, most of which have received high praise for being among the best available online. If their pre-made juices don’t suit your taste, you can even mix your own custom juice from their available ingredients and have it shipped to your door.

Overall, they are one of the best brands, offering a unique experience tailored entirely to the customer.

South Beach Smoke

South Beach Smoke has been in the e-cig market for a while. While newer companies may seem flashier, South Beach has delivered quality products for much longer and will likely continue to do so as other companies shift their focus.

They have built a strong reputation within the vaping community over the years and continue to reinforce it with great products. If you’re considering trying South Beach, you’ll have five starter kits to choose from.

The most basic and affordable option is the Reusable Express Kit. This kit includes the essentials: a pen, battery, charger, and two pre-filled cartomizers. It may not appeal to experienced vapers, but it’s perfect for newcomers testing the waters at South Beach Smoke.

Those with more experience and higher demands might prefer the Deluxe Plus Starter Kit. It includes everything in the standard Deluxe Starter Kit, plus an additional Power Cig, a stylish case, and a car adapter—everything an experienced vaper needs for convenience.

At the top end is the Deluxe Ultimate Starter Kit. As the name suggests, it includes all the accessories from the previous kits, plus extra batteries (including a high-capacity option) and an additional 20 cartomizers.

Halo E-Cigs

Halo, like South Beach, has been around for a while. Unlike South Beach, they compete directly with newer trendsetters in the market. Halo is considered one of the most innovative vaporizer pen manufacturers. If you want a pen at the forefront of technology, they’re the company for you.

Halo may not be the cheapest, but they make up for it with superior quality. Their pens excel in vapor production and battery life, even on their smallest models.

They were among the first companies to create and label an entirely “Made in USA” e-liquid. This was groundbreaking at a time when most companies imported their juice from China. It also led them to rethink the traditional “cig-a-like” vaporizer pen.

Today, they’ve moved beyond “cig-a-like” designs, offering high-capacity batteries with refillable tanks. They’re best known for their Triton Tank System, widely regarded as the best on the market.

V2 Cigs Pro Series 3

The final company on our list is one every long-time vaper has heard of—and likely tried. They’re the most popular brand of personal vaporizers and produce some of the best vaporizer pens on the market, despite also being among the most affordable.

If you’re new to vaporizers and unsure where to start, this is the best company for you. They earn high marks across the board for pricing, quality, battery lifespan, and e-juice. Their designs are stylish, and the price is a small one to pay for the benefits of shopping with V2 Cigs.

Recently, V2 Cigs introduced a new line called the Pro Series 3. Like other popular brands, these use refillable tanks instead of small cartomizers. However, they’ve combined both styles into something unique. The Pro Series 3 has the appearance of a sleek “cigar-shaped pen” (with a blue exterior) but packs advanced features beneath the surface.

Choosing the Right Brand

Finding the best brand for you will require some trial and error. Fortunately, all the companies above offer affordable basic starter kits. These are perfect for testing a company’s products before committing. Chances are, you won’t need to try them all before finding the best vaporizer pen for your needs.
